s.l.r.

s.l.r. (single lens reflex) cameras have an internal mirror mechanism that allows the photographer to look straight through the lens and see a near-exact approximation of what the image captured will look like.  The most common difference between 35mm and 120 SLR cameras is the viewfinder and the modular system that most medium format cameras have.
